Stock market tomorrow, March 20: Trading will be volatile, investors need to be cautious

(NLDO) – In the session of March 19, the supply of profit-taking stocks put pressure on the market, investors may be cautious in buying and selling in the next session.

At the end of the session on March 19, the VN-Index lost more than 6 points (-0.48%), closing at 1,324 points.

Continuing the poor performance from the previous session, investors traded cautiously entering the trading session on March 19.

The market was less buoyant as many stocks fell into the red zone. Large stocks such as VCB, GVR, LPB, SAB… were green but not strong enough to support the general index. As a result, VN-Index fell for most of the morning session.

Entering the afternoon session, the market continued to fluctuate but there was an improvement in points. The biggest decline in points was in the codes MWG,FPT , VPB which suffered great selling pressure from foreign investors.

On the contrary, cash flow showed signs of entering the rubber - chemical stocks group, notably GVR increased by 4.19%, PHR increased by 3.21% and some large-cap stocks such as VIC, VHM, VCB maintained green color, helping VN-Index restrain the decline.

At the end of the session, the VN-Index lost more than 6 points (-0.48%), closing at 1,324 points. Liquidity increased with 835.6 million shares matched on the HOSE floor.

According to Dragon Capital Securities Company (VDSC), liquidity increased compared to the previous session, showing that the supply of profit-taking stocks is putting pressure on the market, especially the net selling move of foreign investors.

"It is likely that strong stock trading will continue in the next trading session. Investors should slow down and avoid falling into an overbought state" - VDSC forecasts and recommends.

Meanwhile, VCBS Securities Company stated that investors can select stocks that maintain support price levels and are not under pressure to adjust according to the VN-Index to disburse and short-term surfing.
