Join hands to carry out activities towards children

Ky Anh Town currently has 23,169 children; of which, 57 children are in special circumstances, 179 disabled children are receiving monthly social allowances in the community, 497 children are at risk of falling into special circumstances...

In recent times, the Party Committee, government and people of Ky Anh Town have always paid attention to children, taking care of them both materially and spiritually. In 2022, the town awarded nearly 540 gifts and scholarships to children in difficult circumstances...

Launching the Month of Action for Children in 2023, the leaders of Ky Anh Town requested that sectors and localities, based on their functions and tasks, effectively and promptly implement the contents of child protection, care and education. Organize propaganda activities, disseminate policies and laws on child protection, care and education; communicate measures to prevent and combat violence, abuse, accidents and injuries, especially child drowning.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ky Anh town presented 180 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to disadvantaged children in the area.

Localities and units mobilize and call on organizations, individuals and units to support giving gifts and sponsoring children in especially difficult circumstances. Organize training to improve capacity for staff working with children; provide knowledge and skills on preventing and combating violence, abuse, preventing and combating accidents and injuries, and drowning of children for parents, caregivers and children...

Also on May 25, the People's Committee of Huong Son district organized the launching ceremony of "Month of action for children in 2023".

Huong Son district currently has more than 28,000 children, of which 16 children receive monthly social protection benefits. The work of caring for, protecting and educating children has always received high attention from the political system and the people of Huong Son district.

At the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children in Huong Son district in 2023, local leaders called on agencies, units, organizations, individuals, families and the whole society to continue to join hands to protect, care for and educate children, especially effectively implementing the program to prevent drowning, injuries, and denounce acts of child abuse, violence and exploitation of child labor.

At the same time, promote the building of a safe and healthy living environment, ensuring children's comprehensive development; organize visits, give gifts and support medical examination and treatment for poor children, children in difficult circumstances, poor children who overcome difficulties and study well.
