Program "Border Spring - Island Tet" in 2025

Responding to the program "Border Spring - Island Tet" Spring At Ty 2025 of the Youth Club for the Homeland's Sea and Islands (Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union); the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has just organized the handover of gifts and over 6,000 "Letters crossing the waves" from students in the province to the Youth Club for the Homeland's Sea and Islands to give to officers, soldiers, and navy personnel on duty in Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 Platform, coastal islands, ships on duty at sea and some border posts.

Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and units: Viet Tri City Youth Union, Thanh Son District Youth Union, Thanh Ba District Youth Union, Cam Khe District Youth Union, Thanh Thuy District Youth Union sent 400kg of rice noodles, 50kg of dried tea - typical agricultural products of the Ancestral Land to officers and soldiers on duty at the border and islands.

The "letters across the waves" convey the feelings and gratitude of the youth and children of the Fatherland to the officers and soldiers who are working day and night at sea, protecting the peaceful sea and sky of the Fatherland.

The program "Border Spring - Island Tet" aims to take care of the material and spiritual life of officers, soldiers, people and forces on duty at sea in Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 Platform. This is a practical activity showing the concern of the Youth Union, union members and youth of the Fatherland for officers and soldiers on duty to maintain sovereignty over seas and islands, protect national security and defense at sea, welcoming the Lunar New Year At Ty in a warm and joyful atmosphere. Through the program, it also enhances education for union members and young people about the awareness of national sovereignty and territorial integrity, the role of island borders in socio-economic development and ensuring national defense.
