Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Appraisal Council, delivered a speech at the appraisal meeting of the book " Traditional history of the Finance Sector of Cao Bang province (1945 - 2025 ) " .
The book "History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930 - 2025)" is a historical work included in the roadmap of Project No. 02-DA/TU, dated June 25, 2021 of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee on researching, compiling and publishing historical publications of local party committees and traditional history of the sector for the period 2021 - 2025 (referred to as Project No. 02-DA/TU); and the book "Traditional history of the Finance Sector of Cao Bang province (1945 - 2025)" is a work supplemented in addition to Project No. 02-DA/TU. The two projects have seriously and fully implemented the research and historical compilation processes according to Instruction No. 47 HD/BTGTU dated September 19, 2018 of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Department (now the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education and Mass Mobilization Department) guiding the research, compilation, appraisal and publication processes of local party history and traditional industry history.
The book "History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930-2025)" was researched and compiled on the basis of inheriting the Proceedings of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office 75 years of construction and growth (1930-2005), with revisions, supplements and new research for the period 2005-2025. The book "History of the tradition of the Finance Sector of Cao Bang Province (1945-2025)" is the first time the Department of Finance of Cao Bang province has organized research, compilation and publication of a book on the history of the sector's tradition, demonstrating the interest, positivity, initiative as well as great efforts and endeavors of the Department of Finance to carry out a meaningful historical work on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnamese Finance Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
In terms of historical value, the two published books will be systematic documents, reproducing the formation and development process of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Finance Sector through the periods; the leadership, direction and organization of all aspects of activities, the basic and outstanding achievements and also the limitations, causes, and lessons learned of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Finance Sector in about 8 decades of formation and development. When published, they will be valuable documents for cadres, party members and people in the province, especially for cadres, civil servants and employees of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Finance Sector.

At the meeting, with a high sense of responsibility, the members of the Appraisal Council spoke to evaluate, consider, and give opinions on a number of issues: the advantages and limitations of the work in both content and form; logic, system; accuracy, science , especially the accuracy of historical events, comparison, and contrast with historical events of the country and locality to ensure suitability and relevance, content capacity of chapters; presentation, analysis, argument, evaluation, generalization...; specific assessments of writing style, expression; grammar; and presentation form of the book. Thereby, proposing the contents that need to be further edited and supplemented to complete the manuscript, aiming at the highest goal of the two published books being truly valuable works, worthy of the noble traditions, with the role and historical mission of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Finance Department of Cao Bang province in the cause of construction and development of the province and the country.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Appraisal Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions of the delegates to contribute to the draft of the two books. The Appraisal Council agreed on the name of the work "History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930-2025)"; proposed to edit the name of the work "History of the tradition of the Finance Sector of Cao Bang Province (1945-2025)" to "History of the Finance Sector of Cao Bang Province (1945-2025)" and evaluated the two books "can be published after revision and correction"; The Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the two books are requested to seriously absorb the opinions of the Appraisal Council, review and edit from the general to the detailed content and presentation to complete the book manuscript to ensure quality and time, complete the printing and publication of the book in 2025 according to the set plan; it is necessary to focus on guiding and orienting the propaganda work and use of the two books immediately after publication.
