Creating a green economic startup model
Speaking at the forum, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that starting a business is difficult, but starting a creative business, creating new values based on exploiting intelligence, technology, and new sustainable business models is much more difficult.
The Minister of Science and Technology is pleased that the people of the Mekong Delta have been "pioneering - creating - daring to think - daring to do" to create green economic-oriented start-up models to build their homeland, making good use of local resources and markets.
In order for the Forum's initiatives and solutions to have the opportunity to materialize and continue to promote many valuable models, the Minister of Science and Technology suggested that green economic-oriented innovation models will need new spaces both legally and in terms of implementation.

In addition, developing a green and sustainable economy will require continuous updating and raising awareness of new trends, regulations, and models, not only from an economic perspective but also in terms of local governance, investment in essential infrastructure and technological infrastructure, especially governance trends based on big data, application of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and green technologies.
In addition, the innovation ecosystem of the Mekong Delta provinces has been developed by the provinces in recent years, but when faced with new, difficult and challenging problems such as green economic development, climate change response... what has been done is not enough, it is necessary to think of models that can combine the efforts and capacities of the parties more closely.
