Against the backdrop of the Vietnam-China relationship entering a new phase, promoting the building of a Community of Shared Future, this visit is of significant strategic importance, contributing to maintaining regular high-level strategic exchanges, promoting the concretization of common understandings, and implementing signed documents.

The visit also provided further impetus for the development of bilateral relations, including cooperation between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the National People's Congress of China.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Prime Minister Li Qiang reviewed the important achievements in the relations between the two Parties and two countries, and the cooperation between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the National People's Congress of China.

The two leaders agreed that bilateral relations are currently in a stage of profound, comprehensive, and substantive development.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed that Vietnam is steadfast in consolidating and developing cooperative and friendly relations with China, considering this a consistent policy, an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority in Vietnam's independent, self-reliant, peaceful, cooperative, and developmental foreign policy, and in diversifying and multilateralizing its foreign relations.

Prime Minister Li Qiang affirmed that China considers Vietnam a priority in its neighborly foreign policy.

The Speaker of the National Assembly highly appreciated the results of the exchanges at the meeting and talks between General Secretary and President To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh with Prime Minister Li Qiang.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man put forward proposals to further promote cooperation between the two countries in the coming time, including strengthening political trust, promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation in a balanced and sustainable manner, boosting friendly exchanges between the people, and accelerating the connection of railways and expressways between the two sides...

Regarding parliamentary cooperation, the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China continue to play their legislative and supervisory roles in promoting bilateral relations, and strengthening the exchange of experiences on institutional reform and building a socialist rule of law state under the leadership of the Party.

Regarding maritime issues, both sides need to thoroughly understand and strictly implement high-level agreements and common understandings, better control and resolve disagreements at sea; resolve disagreements through peaceful means, in accordance with the Agreement on the Basic Principles Guiding the Settlement of Maritime Issues between Vietnam and China and on the basis of international law, especially UNCLOS 1982.

Prime Minister Li Qiang agreed with the proposals of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

China hopes to work with Vietnam to continuously strengthen, preserve, and promote the friendly neighborly relations and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, actively building a strategically significant China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future, contributing to the socialist modernization of each country.

Prime Minister Li Qiang put forward three proposals to promote exchanges and cooperation. These are: maintaining regular strategic exchanges between high-level leaders of the two Parties and two countries to promptly discuss key strategic issues in bilateral relations and regional and international issues; and ensuring strategic leadership in building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future.

It is necessary to expand exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies; effectively implement the cooperation mechanism between the National People's Congress of China and the National Assembly of Vietnam; and welcome National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man's visit to China to strengthen exchanges between the two countries' legislative bodies.

Strengthening the public opinion base for bilateral relations, organizing well the activities of the Vietnam-China People's Cultural Exchange Year 2025, and telling the story of friendship between the people of China and Vietnam.
