On the afternoon of February 18, talking to VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Vu Dinh Trong (born in 1987, in Quang Ninh - driver for Khanh Linh Company) said: "At around 6:30 p.m. on February 17, I dropped off a passenger in front of the Central Circus, on Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hanoi , when suddenly a young man sneaked onto the car and stole 2 phones."

The clip recorded the image of the thief wearing jeans, a black jacket, and a white hat.

“At that time, I left my phone in the driver's seat and got out of the car to open the trunk to get something for the customer. A young man sneaked into the car and took both phones. The image and actions of the thief were recorded by the car's camera,” Mr. Trong informed.

According to Mr. Trong, because he was in a hurry and did not know which ward the incident happened in, he did not have time to report it to the police.

“Because my two phones were stolen, I don’t have anyone’s phone number or Zalo. To serve passenger transportation, I had to borrow someone else’s phone. The total value of the two phones stolen by the thief is about 10 million. The monetary value is not much, but the phones contain a lot of important data, so I am very worried,” Mr. Trong shared.
