Shareholders of 23 companies will receive dividends this week.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - During the trading week from December 15th to 19th, the stock market recorded 23 companies setting the ex-dividend date to pay dividends in cash or shares to shareholders.

Most notably, the Western Bus Station Joint Stock Company (stock code: WCS) is offering a record-high cash dividend. The company announced that December 16th is the last registration date to receive the 2024 dividend, at a rate of 166.66%, equivalent to 16,666 VND per share. The expected payment date is December 25th.

With approximately 3 million shares outstanding, the Western Bus Station (Bến xe Miền Tây) plans to spend nearly 50 billion VND to pay dividends. The largest shareholder, Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation - Limited Liability Company, owning 51% of the capital, is expected to receive nearly 26 billion VND. America LLC, holding 24% of the capital, will receive approximately 12 billion VND, while Thai Binh Investment Company (owning 10% of the capital) is expected to receive approximately 5 billion VND.

This is the second consecutive year that the Western Bus Station has maintained a very high cash dividend rate, after having already paid out 160% in 2023.

Another company with a notable dividend yield is Number 1 Machinery Parts Joint Stock Company (stock code: FT1). The company set December 19th as the last registration date to receive the 2024 cash dividend, at a rate of 51.42%, equivalent to 5,142 VND per share. The expected payment date is January 20th, 2026.

With over 7 million shares outstanding, Number 1 Machinery Parts will spend nearly 36 billion VND to pay dividends. Of this, the largest shareholder, Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation - JSC (VEAM, stock code: VEA), owning 55% of the capital, is expected to receive approximately 20 billion VND.

Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Corporation (stock code: HTG) has also announced the record date for the interim dividend payment for 2025 in cash. With over 36 million shares outstanding, the company expects to pay approximately 90 billion VND in dividends, with the payment date being January 19, 2026. Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, which holds over 61% of Hoa Tho's capital, is estimated to receive approximately 55 billion VND.

Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Company has maintained a stable cash dividend policy for many years, with payouts of 40% in 2022, 35% in 2023, and 40% in 2024. The company expects the dividend rate for 2025 to range from 25% to 50% of charter capital.

Saigon Cargo Services Joint Stock Company (stock code: SCS) also set December 22nd as the last registration date for the first interim dividend payment for 2025 in cash. With over 94.8 million shares outstanding, the company expects to spend more than 237 billion VND to pay dividends. Of this amount, Gemadept - the shareholder owning 33.42% of the capital - is estimated to receive approximately 79 billion VND, while Vietnam Airports Corporation (holding 13.69% of the capital) is expected to receive about 32 billion VND.

In addition to the aforementioned companies, many shareholders at Vicostone, Company 26, and several other companies will also receive dividends this trading week.
