Hoa Binh Construction, Dream House, Ba Huan… owe billions of dong to social insurance.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The list of companies owing social insurance contributions in Ho Chi Minh City as of December includes more than 17,700 businesses, with many well-known names.

The Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance agency has just announced a list of units that have been late in paying social insurance contributions for 3 months or more. The data on late payments is calculated up to November 30th and updated with payment orders up to December 10th.

Records show that a total of over 17,700 businesses are in arrears with social insurance contributions for their employees. Many businesses on this list have overdue payments amounting to tens of billions of dong, reflecting the continued complexity of insurance obligation violations.

According to overdue payment figures as of November 30th and updated payment authorizations as of December 10th, Hoa Binh Construction Group Joint Stock Company is one of the units with a large amount of overdue payments, totaling 56.7 billion VND.

Saigon Post and Telecommunications Services Joint Stock Company also delayed payment of nearly 41 billion VND.

Nearly 18,000 businesses in Ho Chi Minh City are in arrears with social insurance contributions for their employees (Illustrative image: DT).

The branch of American International Education Joint Stock Company (AIS) - American International Primary, Secondary and High School - is late in paying 17 billion VND.

Many businesses also recorded late payments of 10 billion VND or more, mostly in the real estate sector, such as Dream House Investment Co., Ltd. (nearly 12 billion VND), Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 8 (nearly 11 billion VND), GREEN LEAF Vietnam Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (nearly 10 billion VND), etc.

Other companies owing billions of dong include TINI Joint Stock Company (over 8 billion dong), and Ba Huan Joint Stock Company is also on this list with over 6.5 billion dong in overdue social insurance contributions for 401 employees….

Specifically for Ba Huan Joint Stock Company, earlier in November, the Saigon Port Customs Office, Area 3, under the Customs Sub-department Area 2, issued a decision to enforce tax collection. The measure applied was to halt customs procedures for exported and imported goods.

According to the customs agency, the company was subjected to enforcement action due to tax arrears exceeding 90 days from the deadline for payment, with the amount subject to enforcement exceeding 51.3 billion VND.
