Tu Le Valley is like a natural "basin", located between three mountains Khau Pha, Khau Than and Khau Song. Not as brilliant as Mu Cang Chai in the golden season, not as crowded as Sa Pa or Tam Dao, Tu Le has its own beauty, clear, quiet and pristine.
Tu Le is beautiful in every season, but the most captivating period is from late July to October, when the terraced fields begin to change from young green to golden yellow.

The terraced fields in Tu Le are soft and spread evenly across the mountainside. On sunny days, the fields are even more shiny, creating a scene that makes visitors admire.
Not only rice fields, Tu Le is also famous for its natural hot mineral springs - a relaxing stop for those who have just experienced a long journey up steep passes.
Coming to Tu Le in June, Ms. Vu Dieu Thuy (born 1991, Hanoi ) had the opportunity to immerse herself in the poetic nature here for 3 days and 2 nights.
She said her schedule revolves around wellness and relaxation experiences amidst the mountains and forests. Every day she takes hot mineral baths twice a day, morning and afternoon, followed by a restorative massage.
"When I took this trip, I simply thought of going to see the rice fields. Unexpectedly, I stumbled upon a very unexpected trip . The scenery was incredibly beautiful, the air was cool and fresh, and there was no noise or hustle and bustle. I must say that I was surprised many times," Ms. Vu Dieu Thuy shared.
Not only did she get to relax, Ms. Thuy was also lucky enough to "hunt" for clouds. She was excited when she recalled the moment she looked down from the high hill into the valley, the scene before her eyes was so beautiful it was overwhelming, like a movie scene.

Another memory that moved Ms. Thuy was lying on the hill in the evening, playing soft music and watching the stars. That day, the sky in Tu Le was clear, for the first time Ms. Thuy saw the whole sky full of sparkling stars, even saw shooting stars.
"That was the most worthwhile moment of the trip for me. It's almost impossible to have this experience in the city because of the pollution.
Another interesting experience is the Zipline game - sliding from one hill to another. At first, I was scared because it was high and far, but once I slid, it felt so refreshing. I had to climb up and slide again to enjoy it," she said.
Experience of staying - eating - moving when coming to Tu Le
Regarding cuisine , Ms. Thuy said that she has enjoyed most of the local specialties, such as Tu Le sticky rice, grilled chicken, crispy fried stream fish, catfish... The dishes that she will always remember are fern salad and green rice sweet soup served with sticky rice, both rustic and unique.
"I don't remember the names of the vegetables, but they were all delicious, deserving 9/10 points," said Ms. Thuy.

Tu Le is the hometown of delicious sticky rice. Tu Le sticky rice is sticky and has a distinctive aroma. It is steamed in a wooden steamer and served with sesame salt, grilled stream fish or dried buffalo meat. It is a dish worth trying.
Many homestays here also serve bamboo rice, wild vegetable soup, and charcoal-grilled chicken, creating a simple but flavorful meal.
During the green rice season (around September-October), many Thai ethnic families will pound green rice right in their front yard. If lucky, visitors will also be invited to enjoy the new, fragrant, slightly sweet green rice, served with bananas or sipping hot tea in the morning.
From Hanoi, you can go to Tu Le by bus or drive your motorbike or car along Highway 32, a distance of about 280km. If you want to combine tourism, you can continue to Mu Cang Chai - an ideal journey for 2-3 days on the weekend.

In Tu Le, there are many homestays and eco-resorts, some of which are located next to streams, overlooking beautiful terraced fields. Room rates range from 500,000 VND or more per night depending on the type.
Typical accommodations are designed in a style close to nature, serve local dishes and have mineral bath services.
Because Tu Le is located in a highland area, the pass is winding and there can be fog in the early morning, so you should drive carefully and avoid leaving too late in the day. You should bring warm clothes even in summer, because the temperature here can drop quite low at night.
