Recently, social networks shared a video recording the image of a young girl holding a pen to teach a lesson, her voice tone, gestures, and actions seeming like she was instructing "students" on how to pronounce English correctly.
The child’s confident demeanor and adorable expressions are just like her teacher’s. The video quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of views and shares. Besides compliments for the “little teacher”, many people are curious about the story behind that special class.
The video about the "child teacher" was loved and shared by the online community.
The girl in the video is Nguyen Man Nhi, nicknamed Sua, 7 years old, a student at Hong Van Primary School, Thuong Tin Commune, Hanoi . With her mischievous, confident features and natural way of speaking, Sua quickly made a strong impression on viewers through her fun English "lessons" taught by herself as the "teacher".
The “lessons” featured in the video are actually the creative work of Sua and her mother Tu Linh (born in 1991), a former reporter who is currently writing books and sharing about nutrition. From the desire to help her child become more interested in learning English, Tu Linh came up with the idea of filming a vlog that switches roles, in which the mother plays the student and Sua plays the pronunciation teacher. This way of learning through games helps children review lessons and practice confidence and natural communication skills.
At first, when introducing Sua to English, the mother and daughter spent 7 months patiently trying many different learning methods, from studying at the center to self-studying at home. However, the crowded class made it difficult for the teacher to closely monitor Sua, while Sua was still playful and easily discouraged. Realizing that this method could not help Sua approach English, Ms. Tu Linh decided to let her child stop studying at the center and find a new approach that was more suitable for her child's personality and abilities, and her goal was to practice her child's pronunciation.

With the idea of a “role-changing class”, Sua was extremely excited. In each “teaching” session, the topics were suggested by her and her husband based on common English pronunciation mistakes for the child to learn and correct for the whole family.
In addition, she also registered Sua for extra classes through online applications to supplement her child's knowledge for her "lectures". The process of preparing knowledge and "lectures" not only helps Sua review and build confidence, but also creates opportunities for parents to study together and inspire their child's interest in English.
Since starting the “online class” at home, Ms. Tu Linh has noticed that her child is more interested in learning and has made significant progress in his English pronunciation. Not only that, Sua has also shown high discipline by regularly recording videos and “teaching” every day. Through the lessons, Ms. Tu Linh also discovered that her child has good body language skills, can express natural expressions and present fluently - something she had never realized before.
"Sua is only 7 years old but her parents have to teach her about discipline. Even when Sua is tired, sick or out playing with friends, she goes into her room, puts her phone up and starts her lesson. 7 days a week without missing a single class," said Ms. Tu Linh.
The story of "Teacher Milk" not only makes the online community love it but also shows that with just the right learning method, learning can become fun and arouse interest in children.
