On August 9, An Minh Commune Police (An Giang Province) said they caught a subject using an electric shock tool to illegally exploit aquatic products on the river.

Previously, at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, while patrolling Danh Coi hamlet, An Minh commune, An Minh commune police discovered Nguyen Vu Phuoc (born in 1982, residing in Thanh Hung hamlet, An Minh commune) was directly using an electric generator to illegally catch aquatic products.

At the scene, the task force seized 1 generator, 2 batteries, 1 gasoline engine, 1 hull and some other evidence of the violation.
