Announcing a natural disaster emergency situation regarding the landslide and river dike collapse on the right side of Thao River.

Currently, the river bank and riverbank sections from km53-km54+300 and the sections from km71+300-km72+300 of Thao right dike in Hien Quan commune and Tam Nong commune are experiencing severe erosion, with some areas of erosion reaching the border of residential areas, cultural works, and historical relics; sweeping away some areas of land, structures, trees, and crops of local people and directly threatening hundreds of households in the area; affecting the safety of the Thao river right dike (also the provincial road DT 315) and threatening the safety of the two embankments upstream and downstream of the landslide area.

Faced with this development, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province has declared a natural disaster emergency regarding the landslide and riverbank collapse of the Thao River. Relevant departments and agencies are urgently implementing key tasks, promptly starting construction of the project according to the emergency order, striving to complete the project in the fastest time, ensuring the technical quality of the project; protecting the safety of the dike project.
