HNP - On the morning of October 27, Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 109 official delegates. The Congress is an important political event taking place right after the operation of the 2-level local government model, an important milestone marking a strong innovation in trade union work, especially after the arrangement and consolidation of socio-political and mass organizations in the direction of streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward.

Currently, Vinh Hung ward has 36 grassroots trade unions, including 19 public service units, schools and 17 enterprises, non-public units, with a total of 1,873 union members. The team of workers, civil servants and laborers in the ward is diverse in terms of occupational structure and professional qualifications. The ideology of the labor force is stable, trusts in the leadership of the Party, actively studies, trains, and contributes to building a clean and strong Party and government.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress has the task of assessing the situation of workers, civil servants and laborers in the ward; determining the goals, targets, directions, tasks and solutions of Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term; giving opinions on the draft documents of the Hanoi City Trade Union Congress and amending and supplementing the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union; appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee members, Inspection Committee and positions of the ward trade union for the first term, 2025 - 2030 term; appointing delegates to attend the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress.

The Congress identified key tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, including: Enhancing the representative role and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers through dialogue, collective bargaining, and monitoring the implementation of labor policies. Innovating the work of caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members, effectively implementing welfare programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Trade Union Shelter"...

Trade union organizations continue to improve political capacity, professional qualifications, professional skills, and build an industrial cultural lifestyle. Innovate the organization of patriotic emulation movements, launch movements such as "Good workers", "Creative workers", and build advanced models. Build strong trade union organizations, attract workers to join the union, especially in non-state enterprises.

Some targets to strive for: In the ward, at least 85% of enterprises and units with trade union organizations negotiate and sign collective labor agreements according to the provisions of law; 100% of union members with difficult circumstances in the ward are cared for and protected by trade unions at all levels when requested; Every year, the ward trade union has at least 01 typical project or part of work; The ward trade union and grassroots trade unions in the area deploy information technology applications, digital transformation and limit the use of paper documents, striving to digitize 100% of meeting documents by the end of the term, 100% of meetings do not use papers; 100% of ward trade union officials proficiently apply artificial intelligence applications and software (AI, Chat GPT) to perform and solve work....

Chairwoman of Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union Vuong Thi Anh Tuyet said: The three breakthroughs in the next term include building a team of union officials with intelligence, courage, enthusiasm, creativity, and applying digital transformation; promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on jobs, wages, and occupational safety and hygiene; and increasing the mobilization of workers to join the union, building a strong organization.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President of the City Labor Federation Nguyen Huy Khanh and Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Hung Ward Nguyen Duc Dung suggested: "Vinh Hung Ward Labor Union needs to promote digital transformation in union activities; improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers associated with the goal of developing a green economy , protecting the environment, preserving a bright - green - clean - beautiful urban landscape; need to continue to pay attention to promoting the development of union members, establishing grassroots unions, introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, training and admission...".

Accordingly, Ms. Vuong Thi Anh Tuyet was appointed as Chairwoman of Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union.
