BDK.VN - On April 30, 2025, a representative of the My Thuan Project Management Board (investor) of the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Construction Investment Project connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces said: "At the construction site, units are continuously implementing construction throughout holidays and days off. In total, there are more than 20 construction teams, more than 80 main equipment units, 50 technical staff and about 350 workers."

Specifically, the road section has 14 main construction teams, 60 equipment heads, 30 technical staff and about 155 workers. Focusing on constructing the upper foundation stone layer; casting concrete and installing the median strip; constructing branch box culverts; constructing asphalt concrete road surface...

The bridge section on the route has 3 main construction teams, 5 equipment heads, 5 technical staff and about 45 workers. Construction items include: Xoai Hot Bridge; Song Ma Bridge; construction of expansion joints of My Tho Bridge.

Rach Mieu 2 main bridge has 3 main construction teams, more than 15 equipment units, 15 technical staff and about 150 workers. Focusing on construction items such as dismantling scaffolding for closing; dismantling casting vehicles; casting railing edges; dismantling the cable-stayed construction platform system.

It is expected that by June 30, 2025, all 5/5 bridges on the route will be completed and the approach roads will be basically completed. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in August 2025.

The main bridge - Rach Mieu 2 has about 150 workers working during the holidays.

To date, the overall progress of the Project has been completed at 85.05%, exceeding the general progress by more than 4% compared to the plan; the main bridge of Rach Mieu 2 Bridge alone is exceeding the progress by more than 14%.

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Construction Project connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces is a project that millions of people in Ben Tre province and some provinces in the Mekong Delta are looking forward to its completion and use. The project has a total investment of 6,810.11 billion VND, from the state budget. The main Rach Mieu 2 Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge, the length of Rach Mieu 2 Bridge is 1,971.2m; 4 lanes for motor vehicles, the total length of the project is about 17.6km.
