Vifoco Company - The first fresh fruit packaging facility in the North approved for export to the United States

BAC GIANG - The US Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has just approved a fresh fruit packaging facility for export to this market for Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang city).

According to the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Environment), after accompanying and guiding Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company to prepare and complete the dossier of the facility for packaging lychees exported to the US market, the Company's facility has now been approved by APHIS. This is also the first facility in the North to be approved by the US authorities.

APHIS's decision opens up many opportunities for the Company in particular and Bac Giang province in general, first of all, facilitating the export of fresh lychees in the 2025 lychee crop. Enterprises exporting to the US market can pack them right in Bac Giang without having to bring them to the South as before, saving costs, reducing transportation time, and increasing product quality.
