Asia Park Da Nang to close in September

After 11 years of operation and becoming one of the famous entertainment areas in the center of Da Nang City, Da Nang Downtown - Da Nang Asia Park will stop operating from September 3.

On August 5, Ms. Phung Pham Thanh Thuy - director of Da Nang Downtown, said that Da Nang Downtown entertainment area will say goodbye to tourists and Da Nang residents from September 3.

"The closure is to make way for new construction," said Ms. Thuy.

According to the announcement from the Da Nang Downtown operator, from now until the day this amusement park closes, there will be many exciting activities. The park will be decorated with the red national flag and music programs.

Da Nang residents and tourists can experience familiar icons such as the Sun Wheel, the Asian iconic check-in corner, outdoor adventure games such as Queen Cobra, Falling Tower...

Da Nang Downtown also runs many incentive programs for customer groups, especially students.

On August 30, the K-pop Kids MC and performance talent contest will take place with the participation of 200 young talents at Sun Wheel Square.

On August 31 and September 1, the Random Dance competition will be held - an iconic playground associated with Da Nang Downtown for many years.

On September 2, Da Nang Downtown organized a revolutionary music and art program, a carnival street parade with the national flag at the VUI-Fest market.

Opened in 2014, Da Nang Downtown (formerly known as Asia Park) is a popular entertainment area for tourists and locals in Da Nang.

This is also the place to hold many art programs in major events. The image of the giant Ferris wheel standing out on the banks of the Han River also appeared on many international media channels.
