Hanoi Traffic Police force is ready with plans to ensure traffic safety for the Convention signing ceremony.
On the afternoon of October 22, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police held a conference to deploy plans to ensure traffic order and safety for the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, which will take place on October 25 and 26, 2025 in Hanoi. Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia, Head of the Traffic Police Department, attended and directed the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia, Head of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, emphasized: This is the first time Vietnam has been chosen by the United Nations as the venue for the signing ceremony of an international convention of global significance, affirming the role, prestige and increasing position of Vietnam in the international arena. Deeply aware of the significance and special importance of the event, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has proactively developed and implemented a comprehensive plan, with the highest goal of ensuring absolute safety for the activities of Party and State leaders, international delegations and delegates attending, while maintaining order, safety and smooth traffic throughout the capital.

Implementing the direction of the Hanoi City Police, the Traffic Police Department mobilized the maximum number of officers, soldiers, vehicles, technical equipment, closely coordinated with functional forces to synchronously deploy measures to ensure absolute safety for activities during the event. In addition to the task of welcoming and guiding delegations and leaders of the Party and State, the Traffic Police force increased its presence at key intersections, proactively grasped the situation, divided and regulated traffic, and prevented congestion, especially during rush hours and on routes serving the Convention Opening Ceremony.
The TTDĐ team deployed a plan to guide and protect the delegations attending the Convention Signing Ceremony.
At the same time, the working groups increased patrols, mobile control, and traffic monitoring through the camera system; promptly detected and strictly handled violations such as stopping and parking in violation of regulations, using alcohol while driving, not obeying traffic lights, carrying bulky goods, not wearing helmets, etc. to maintain smooth traffic order and safety throughout the city.
