The photo and video capturing the moment Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova bowed her head and covered her face helplessly during the meeting between President Trump and President Zelensky at the White House on February 28 attracted the attention of netizens.

Just a few hours after appearing on social network X, the photo received more than 2 million views and thousands of comments.

The photo shows Ms. Markarova sitting in the front row watching the talks between the two US and Ukrainian leaders inside the Oval Office, surrounded by a large group of reporters.

For a moment, she bowed her head, covered her face with her hands, and closed her eyes, appearing helpless as the two leaders argued fiercely.

On the afternoon of February 28, President Zelensky went to the White House in hopes of signing a mineral agreement and discussing a solution to the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
