Autumn Fair: Customers hunt for 70% off products, businesses win big

(Dan Tri) - The first Autumn Fair - 2025 is attracting a large number of visitors with thousands of booths offering discounts of up to 70%. Many businesses have recorded a sharp increase in revenue after only a few days.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 takes place from October 26 to November 4 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ). With the theme and message "Connecting people with production and business", the fair is organized on the largest scale ever.

The fair has the participation of 3,000 booths, scale of 130,000m2, including 5 themed zones; culinary culture area of ​​34 localities, music and art programs, cultural and artistic experiences...

Deeply discounted branded goods

On October 28, the third day of the Autumn Fair opening, the Vietnam Exhibition Center continued to be crowded with visitors and shoppers. Many booths in the "Family Autumn" and "Quintessence of Hanoi Autumn" sections recorded a sharp increase in revenue.

Notably, many high-end fashion brands with 30-70% discounts have received the attention of many customers such as Fila, Converse, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Lining, Giovani...

A staff member at a Vstyle fashion store said that because today (October 28) is a weekday, the number of customers is not as crowded as last weekend. However, the shopping situation is still quite positive and is expected to be more crowded in the evening.

"Customers mainly hunt for products with deep discounts of 50-70% such as belts, sneakers, etc. Some models are out of stock due to hot sales, the store is rushing to restock," said an employee.

Similarly, some fashion booths of domestic manufacturing enterprises also attract many customers thanks to the strategy of selling at the same price. The booth of Chien Thang Garment Joint Stock Company is always crowded with customers shopping for products priced at 50,000 VND.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuong Huyen, Director of Padu Fashion Center (Chien Thang Garment Joint Stock Company), said that the business sold more than 1,000 products in just over two days of participating in the fair - a number beyond expectations.

"Our products are mainly exported to the US, European, and Korean markets... Participating in the fair is an opportunity to introduce and promote the brand to domestic consumers. Fortunately, at this event, the business also connected with a number of Japanese partners and received large orders," Ms. Huyen shared.

Go to the fair to "hunt" for discounted goods and specialties

In addition to the fashion, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals booths, booths selling local specialties, clean agricultural products, OCOP products, coffee, herbs, agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, packaged foods, and export goods also attracted a large number of shoppers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, owner of Com Moc Huyen, said that up to this point, revenue has exceeded 100 million VND. “I am very happy because this revenue brings great profit to the facility, and at the same time helps many customers know about the family’s traditional Com brand,” she shared.

At the area displaying local specialties, clean agricultural products, OCOP products... the shopping atmosphere was bustling. Many customers took the opportunity to hunt for regional specialties such as honey, coffee, fish sauce, tea... at preferential prices.

Some booths also give away gifts or let people try out their products, attracting many people to try them out. “The prices are reasonable and there are many delicious and unique products, so I bought them to try and give as gifts,” said Thu Lan, a visitor to the fair.

Many customers said the fair was a rare opportunity to buy authentic local specialties without having to travel far. Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (Dong Anh commune) said that normally, if she wanted to buy regional specialties, she had to order online, worrying about the products not being authentic and having to pay for shipping.

"Today the fair gathers many products from all over, and I can try and choose directly so I feel very secure. I bought some bottles of Nha Trang fish sauce and specialty cakes from the West to bring back as gifts," she shared.

Not only consumers, many local traders and manufacturers also see the fair as an opportunity to promote products and connect with trade.

"We bring our products here to introduce, both to sell and to find distribution partners. Buyers' feedback is very positive, many people even ask for information to order more," said Mr. Huynh Duy, representative of the honey and turmeric starch business booth.
