On the morning of January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Mong Cai City organized a reception for the first tourists entering the country through Mong Cai international border gate. On this occasion, Mong Cai City leaders came to present flowers and wish the first visitors a happy new year.

A group of 350 tourists completed immigration procedures to enter Vietnam through Mong Cai International Border Gate. Authorities provided specific instructions, followed the correct procedures, and assisted tourists in entering the country quickly.

It is expected that on the first day of the new year of At Ty 2025, Mong Cai international border gate will have 12,186 tourists entering through Mong Cai city to visit some locations in Quang Ninh province and Vietnam.

During the Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025, the city will welcome about 90,000 visitors (an increase of about 15% compared to the same period in 2024). This promises to be a favorable opening signal for Mong Cai tourism industry to continue to flourish and make a breakthrough in 2025.
