"Someone recently said I'm more recognizable than the president," Arnold Schwarzenegger says in Arnold , his latest photo book, which chronicles his rise to stardom and his career in the public spotlight.

Arnold is a two-volume edition priced at $1,500, featuring exclusive bodybuilding, behind-the-scenes, and personal photos from Schwarzenegger's own archive.

The photo book also features portraits of Arnold Schwarzenegger taken over the years by famous photographers such as Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz and Andy Warhol.
Hanson, an editor and writer for Taschen Publishing, studied the photos closely. "I've met beautiful people. I've met smart people, but Arnold was more charismatic than anyone I've ever met. Not everyone who's charismatic can show it in a photo, a film, a video . But Arnold has that ability," Hanson said.
She remembers the first time she visited his home: "Arnold was a great storyteller. He would go around the house and show how things were done. He was full of joy and energy."

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Arnold Schwarzenegger took a more active role on social media, posting videos from home with his donkey Lulu and miniature horse Whiskey. He says in the book that this was partly because he saw how people were struggling with anxiety, depression and loneliness during the lockdown.
