Da Nang meets to honor exemplary policy families

On the morning of March 25, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized a meeting with heroic Vietnamese mothers, people with meritorious services, and exemplary families of policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang . Attending the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City Nguyen Van Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang, and Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Le Van Trung.

Currently, the city has more than 16,800 veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs... enjoying regular preferential policies and regimes. At the meeting, delegates of meritorious people, city leaders and the young generation had the opportunity to interact with some witnesses, to relive the heroic years of the nation's resistance war; to learn more about the sacrifices and losses of generations of fathers and brothers, families of meritorious people for the liberation of the homeland and the unification of the country.

On behalf of the city leaders, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh sent his warm regards and expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and people with meritorious services. The Chairman of the City People's Committee also happily informed that after 50 years of liberation, Da Nang has made remarkable progress.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also said that the city has been issued many special mechanisms and policies by the Central Government and Da Nang will take advantage of this opportunity to have new steps of development. Economic development associated with ensuring social security is the goal that the city always sets.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee said that on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation, the city has focused on organizing many meaningful and practical activities, thereby widely propagating the historical traditions, revolutionary heroism, self-reliance and solidarity spirit of Da Nang people; contributingto educating the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude". At the same time, it is also an opportunity to introduce a youthful, innovative, creative and attractive city to domestic and foreign investors and tourists.
