Plan for organizing water recreation and entertainment activities

DNO - The City People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize water recreation activities in coastal areas and the Han River area.

The plan clearly defines the types of vehicles that are allowed to operate. Specifically, the group of motorized vehicles includes: jet skis, parasailing canoes, banana boats, windsurfing canoes, jet boards and some other types of motorized vehicles in accordance with current regulations.

For non-motorized vehicles, including: water skiing, windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), personal watercraft and other similar types.

These vehicles, when put into use, must meet quality, technical safety and environmental protection standards in accordance with the provisions of law.

The space for organizing activities is also specifically oriented, focusing on areas with favorable natural conditions and little impact on the ecosystem as well as security and defense.

The areas include: Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa coastal route; Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal route; coastal area along Hai Van pass; coastal area along Son Tra peninsula; Han River water area from Han River bridge to Tran Thi Ly bridge.

These are all locations that have been and are being planned for tourism development, and at the same time have relatively complete supporting infrastructure, convenient for implementation and management of activities.

According to the City People's Committee, this plan was developed with the specific goal of promoting the advantages of marine resources and the Han River to develop a variety of tourism products. Through this, the city hopes to attract domestic and foreign tourists, serve the entertainment needs of local people, and at the same time actively contribute to the development of the local economy .

The organization of water recreation activities will be implemented from 2025 to 2030.

During the implementation process, depending on the practical needs of businesses, residents and tourists, the City People's Committee will review, supplement and adjust appropriately to ensure effectiveness, while complying with specialized legal regulations.
