Da Nang increases electricity support level for poor households meeting city standards and social policy households

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a document on implementing the increase in electricity support for poor households meeting city standards and social policy households in the city.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requested agencies and localities in the city to base on the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on electricity prices to implement electricity support for poor households according to city standards and social policy households with a support level of VND 57,000/household/month, applicable from May 2023.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Finance, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the People's Committees of districts to disseminate and propagate the increase in electricity support to all classes of people, especially poor households according to city standards and social policy households; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation according to regulations.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will guide localities to promptly organize electricity support payments for poor households according to city standards and social policy households. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Finance to advise the City People's Committee to supplement the 2023 State budget for units and localities to implement.
