Da Nang approves 44 apartments for rent to the poor

On September 15, Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City , issued an official dispatch on the plan to review and arrange for renting state-owned social housing apartments for poor households in especially difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, 44 apartments will be arranged for rent.

The subjects are poor households whose names are on the list of poor households recognized locally according to regulations.

Households must have registered household registration and permanent residence in Da Nang City for 7 years or more up to the time of application submission.

Households that do not have housing ownership or land use rights in Da Nang City. In case of having housing or land use rights but have transferred them, they will only be considered after 5 years from the date of transfer.

These households must not have purchased, rented, or leased-purchased social housing; and must not have enjoyed housing or land support policies in any form in Da Nang City.

Priority conditions: First, households with people with severe or extremely severe disabilities. Second, households with people with serious illnesses. Third, households with people raising children alone.

Real Estate - Da Nang approves 44 apartments for rent to the poor — The subjects eligible for rent approval are poor households whose names are on the list of locally recognized poor households according to regulations.

The District People's Committee shall announce the policy, number of apartments to be rented, subjects, conditions, approval criteria, components, application forms and time for receiving applications to each residential group.

The People's Committee of the district shall receive, check the documents, review and approve according to the subjects, conditions, and approval criteria and issue a document proposing a list of cases eligible for local rental, and send it to the Department of Construction.

The People's Committee of the district shall establish a Review Council of at least 6 members, including the leader of the People's Committee of the district; the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the leader of the People's Committee of the ward or commune where the household registers to rent; invite representatives of the People's Council of the city, district, and the Women's Union of the district.

The Department of Construction inspects and reports to the Council for approval of the arrangement of renting state-owned social housing apartments.

Based on the Council's opinions, the Department of Construction synthesizes and submits to the City People's Committee to issue a decision on rental arrangement.

According to Mr. Tran Van Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, the unit has implemented the above dispatch of the City People's Committee.

The number of apartments arranged for rent for the poor with especially difficult circumstances this time includes Hai Chau district with 6 apartments; Thanh Khe district with 7 apartments; Son Tra district with 10 apartments; Lien Chieu district with 3 apartments; Ngu Hanh Son district with 12 apartments; Cam Le district with 5 apartments and Hoa Vang district with 1 apartment.
