Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographers in Tien Giang province, term 2024

(NADS) - On the morning of December 13, at the Tien Giang Province Literature and Arts Association, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) of Tien Giang Province held a Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the Congress was Chairman of the Provincial VAPA Truong Trong Nghia.

Tien Giang Association currently has 20 artists. During the 2019-2024 term, the Association has coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize annual provincial-level art photography competitions. Many members have participated in the competitions and achieved high results, contributing to building the art photography movement in the province.

In addition, the Association has organized seminars and workshops to improve the skills and knowledge of its members, thereby promoting the professionalization of photography, enhancing the position of Tien Giang photography in the region, providing more beautiful photos of Tien Giang in various fields. Many members have won high awards at regional and national competitions.

Mr. Truong Trong Nghia, Chairman of Tien Giang Literature and Arts Association, presented flowers to acknowledge the contributions of the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2019 - 2024 term and congratulated the Executive Committee for successfully completing the assigned tasks.

Orienting activities for the 2024 - 2029 term, Tien Giang Branch advocates a harmonious combination of two trends in photographic creation, which are to maintain the "honest reflection" attribute of traditional photography and the creative trend of applying technology and artificial intelligence in image processing, creating beautiful works of art in both content and form, with high ideological and artistic value.

Congress votes to elect the Executive Committee for the new term

Focus on composing works reflecting the period of development and innovation of the country. Especially aiming to celebrate the great national holidays in 2025 and the following years of the term. Reflecting diverse aspects of life, focusing on the transformation and development of new rural areas. Reflecting the achievements and efforts of the country in the process of entering a new era, the era of national growth.

The Executive Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term was introduced to the Congress

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term, consisting of 3 members. NSNA Truong Minh Nhut was trusted to hold the position of Branch Chairman and 2 Vice Branch Chairman.

The Congress also elected a delegation of 8 members to attend the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts (term 2025 - 2030) in May 2025.
