On the afternoon of October 30, the 1st Congress of Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030 was held, with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".

Attending the congress were members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Le Van Thanh; members of the Provincial Labor Federation Executive Committee; leaders of Hoa Phu commune and 100 delegates representing more than 6,000 union members of Hoa Phu commune.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union Congress has the task of evaluating the temporary operation situation and at the same time determining the goals, directions and tasks of the Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.

The Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union Executive Committee was introduced at the congress.

Hoa Phu Commune Union manages union members of inter-commune and ward unions (Hoa Phu commune, Thanh Nhat ward and Ea Kao ward) with 41 affiliated grassroots unions. In the area, there are about 6,894 workers, civil servants and laborers, including 6,020 union members. The commune union has focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots level, and taking care of union members' interests.

Workers' lives are increasingly improving; income and labor relations are basically stable, average salary is 5.9 - 6.1 million VND/person/month; many activities to care for, represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers, such as: union meals, union shelters, guidance on lending capital to solve employment and proposing support for job creation from the national employment fund in 2025 for union members; focusing on administrative reform associated with the application of information technology in managing union members, records, reports and professional procedures, contributing to improving efficiency, transparency and saving time.

Cultural performance to welcome the congress.

The Congress discussed and approved the resolution for the 2025-2030 term, setting an annual target of striving for at least 90% of grassroots trade unions in public service units and 75% of grassroots trade unions outside the non-state sector to be classified as having completed their tasks well.

Support and guide at least 85% of grassroots trade unions of enterprises and non-state sector units to participate with employers in promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations. Trade unions participate in promoting at least 65% of workers in enterprises to participate in learning to improve their qualifications and professional skills. 100% of grassroots trade unions apply the 4.0 industrial revolution on the basis of innovation and digital transformation applied to trade union activities.

During the term, we will focus on performing the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, contributing to improving the quality of life of union members and workers. Improve the effectiveness of the "Union Shelter" program, the "Solidarity and Mutual Assistance" Fund; Organize the annual activities of "Workers' Month", "Union Month", "Tet Sum Vay" with meaningful and practical activities to better care for the rights of workers; Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, improving the quality of union activities to meet the requirements of the new situation; Improve the quality and effectiveness of the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" associated with the emulation movement "Women actively study, work, be creative, build happy families".

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Le Van Thanh emphasized: The union needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation. Proactively grasp the aspirations and wishes, receive feedback from union members and workers, promptly make recommendations and propose to competent authorities to resolve the concerns, problems and difficulties in the life and work of union members and workers. Provincial Federation of Labor awarded financial support to 2 union shelters.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to appoint 6 members of the Executive Committee of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, members of the Inspection Committee and key positions of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, Term I; and decided to appoint delegates to attend the Provincial Trade Union Congress. Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Phu Commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented a symbol of financial support to build two "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances in the commune.
