The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Ung Thien Commune Police: Orientation for steady development in the new period

HNP - On the afternoon of July 28, the Ung Thien Commune Police Party Committee solemnly held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This is an important political event, marking a new development stage of the Commune Police Party Committee after the two-level local government model officially came into operation. Attending and directing the Congress was Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hong Phong - Member of the Inspection Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee.

Established under Decision No. 41-QD/DU dated July 9, 2025, the Party Committee of Ung Thien Commune Police consists of 5 subordinate Party cells with a total of 46 Party members. Since its establishment, the Party Committee has quickly stabilized the organization, completed the apparatus, clearly assigned responsibilities and tasks to each officer and soldier, gradually improved the effectiveness of professional work, and promptly advised local Party committees and authorities in ensuring security and order in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hong Phong - Member of the Inspection Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

At the Congress, delegates unanimously approved the Political Report, identifying the key directions and goals for the new term. In particular, focusing on Party development, improving the quality of Party members, building Party cells that fulfill their tasks well, improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and control, promoting administrative reform, and digital transformation in performing professional tasks. The overarching goal is to maintain political security and social order and safety, and build a clean and strong Party organization to meet development requirements in the new period.

Comrade Nguyen Chi Vien - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune presented the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ung Thien commune on cadres' work.

The Congress also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ung Thien Commune, accordingly appointing the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Commune Police consisting of 7 comrades, comrade Do Tuan Cuong - Head of the Commune Police was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; comrade Nguyen Danh Quyet - Deputy Head of the Commune Police held the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Chi Vien - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ung Thien commune acknowledged and commended the achievements of the commune police force in recent times, especially since the two-level government officially came into operation from July 1, 2025 to present. He affirmed that the commune police have been proactive and flexible in advising and effectively implementing assigned tasks, maintaining stability in the area, especially during the organization of important political events such as the candle lighting ceremony to honor heroic martyrs on the evening of July 26 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27)...

The success of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Ung Thien Commune Police is an important first step, creating a premise for the Commune Police force to continue to affirm its core role in protecting political security, maintaining social order and safety, promoting digital transformation and administrative reform, contributing to building Ung Thien commune to be increasingly developed, civilized and modern.
