Ambassador Pham Truong Giang presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to the Director of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia.

On January 13, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Slovakia, Ambassador Pham Truong Giang presented a copy of the Letter of Credentials of President Luong Cuong to Ms. Ingrid Horvay, Director of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia.

Ms. Ingrid Horvay welcomed Ambassador Pham Truong Giang to assume his duties in Slovakia, pledging to promptly notify local agencies and localities to create favorable conditions for the Ambassador to participate in normal activities while waiting for the ceremony of presenting his credentials to President Peter Perllegrini.

Thanking Director Ingrid Horvay for arranging the meeting right after the Ambassador arrived in the capital Bratislava, Ambassador Pham Truong Giang affirmed that Vietnam has always attached importance to the traditional friendship with Slovakia over the years, and that the Ambassador personally and the Embassy will actively contribute to promoting the potential for multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.

The Ambassador emphasized that he will actively coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, agencies, localities and the Vietnamese community in Slovakia to carry out practical activities on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025.
