General Phan Van Giang talked, visited and encouraged the people of Dong residential group, Linh Son ward.
Dong residential group, Linh Son ward has 382 households with more than 1,300 people. Thanks to the spirit of solidarity and self-reliance, the group has no poor households, 100% of houses are solid, over 80% of households are well-off. Education promotion, health care, cultural and sports activities are well maintained. People actively protect the environment, donate land to open roads, build "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" streets, contributing to making Dong residential group become a typical cultural residential area by 2025.
General Phan Van Giang gives gifts to disadvantaged households in Linh Son ward
At the festival, General Phan Van Giang and other leaders kindly asked about people's lives and praised their efforts to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, maintain solidarity, mutual love and always accompany local Party committees and authorities in carrying out socio-economic development tasks and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.
Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Linh Son ward.
He also praised Linh Son ward for quickly completing its apparatus, keeping up with the requirements of modern urban management; at the same time, maintaining and fostering the solidarity and unity among residential groups. Because the tradition of solidarity is the source of strength to move towards success.
General Phan Van Giang emphasized that taking care of people's lives must be considered the top priority. Linh Son Ward needs to continue to review and support affected households; speed up the progress of infrastructure repair; research fundamental solutions to ensure safety for the area along the Cau River during the rainy and stormy season; do a good job of mass mobilization, not letting people be "left behind" in the urbanization process. He expressed his hope that Dong residential group would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, carry out the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", raise community awareness in preserving the environment, beautifying the urban area and protecting the landscape of the Cau River.

People of Dong residential group attend the Festival
On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang and the working delegation of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense presented many meaningful gifts to Dong residential group and Linh Son ward; presented 100 gifts to people in difficult circumstances and households affected by storms.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Military Region 1, and Command 86 also sent many practical gifts to outstanding cultural families, policy families, and disadvantaged households. The Provincial Party Secretary and leaders of Thai Nguyen province presented many gifts to residential groups and 15 disadvantaged households.
Located along the Cau River, due to the recent impact of storm No. 11, most households in the Dong residential group were deeply flooded, causing heavy damage to property, infrastructure, and life. However, with the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, mutual love, and mutual assistance, in a short time, with the help of Party committees, authorities, armed forces, and the support of volunteer organizations and individuals, the lives of the people here quickly stabilized. Therefore, the sharing and direct visits of the leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches, Party committees, and local authorities not only encouraged and motivated the spirit, but also affirmed the concern, understanding, sharing, companionship, and strengthened the trust of the people.
