The units closely monitor the developments of storm No. 13, the situation of rain, floods, localized flooding in urban areas, flash floods, landslides due to the impact of the storm through forecasts and warnings of hydrometeorological agencies. At 4 p.m. on November 4, typhoon Kalmaegi maintained a strong wind speed of level 13, gusting to level 16. It is expected that in the early morning of November 5, the eye of the storm will pass over the central Philippines and enter the East Sea, becoming the 13th storm of 2025. Immediately after entering our country's waters, the storm is likely to strengthen, heading towards the Truong Sa area.

It is forecasted that from the afternoon of November 6, the circulation of storm Kalmaegi will directly affect the sea and mainland of the provinces from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa. Coastal areas may have strong winds of level 10-12, gusting to level 15; inland, winds of level 7-9, gusting to level 13-14.

Widespread heavy rain is forecast to occur from the night of November 6 to November 9, concentrated in the areas of Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Dak Lak.

The meteorological agency assessed that Kalmaegi is a very strong storm, with a trajectory and intensity similar to strong storms that caused great damage in the Central region such as Damrey in 2017 or Molave ​​in 2020.
