Dak Nong licensed to exploit stone mine with reserves of more than 6.6 million m3

Dak Nong has just granted a mining license to a quarry with "huge" reserves of more than 6.6 million m3, with an exploitation capacity of 265,000 m3/year.

Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen has just signed and issued a license to exploit minerals at the basalt quarry in Hamlet 6, Dak Ru Commune, Dak R'lap District. The licensed mining entity is Thoa Phuc Company Limited.

Basalt quarry in village 6, Dak Ru commune has an area of ​​12.84 hectares. The mineral reserves allowed to be included in the design are more than 6.6 million ^{m3 of} rock and nearly 1 million ^m3 of minerals (soil) as filling materials.

This quarry is licensed for 23 years for basalt and 9 years for associated minerals (soil) as backfill material. The mining method under the license is open pit.

Thoa Phuc Company Limited is licensed to exploit basalt with a capacity of 265,000 ^m3 /year. The enterprise is licensed to exploit accompanying minerals (soil) as filling materials from 25,500 to more than 134,000 ^m3 /year.

Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requests Thoa Phuc Company Limited to exploit in accordance with the requirements of the granted license. Before proceeding with exploitation, the enterprise must fully carry out the relevant procedures according to the license to submit to the relevant departments and branches as prescribed.

Large-scale quarries (pictured is a quarry in Dak R'lap district) will contribute to solving the shortage and price increase of construction materials in recent times.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, this is one of the quarries with the largest area and reserves in Dak Nong. With a capacity of 265,000 ^m3 /year, this is the licensed quarry with the largest exploitation capacity in the province.

This is also a quarry licensed at the same time as the accompanying minerals (soil) as filling materials. With a soil reserve of nearly 1 million ^m3 , this mineral quarry is expected to partially solve the shortage of filling materials in Dak R'lap district in particular and Dak Nong province in general.
