Accordingly, recently, the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Nong province received information reflecting that some subjects contacted by phone, claiming to be leaders of departments and branches of Dak Nong province, informing and requesting to provide personal information and carry out other requests.

Through verification, the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Nong province found that the above phone calls were fake, showing signs of fraud.

Therefore, it is recommended that people inside and outside the province should be careful when receiving phone calls or social networking applications claiming to be leaders or officials of state agencies, armed forces, judicial agencies, etc. If the contact person's information is unclear, it is necessary to consider providing information and carrying out the subject's requests.

“In case of suspected fraud, record the phone number and social network account name and immediately notify the police or make a report to 156,” Dak Nong Department of Information and Communications recommends.

- Method 1: Send a message (free) to 156 or 5656 including:

- Method 2: Call 156 (telecommunications companies will apply free calls) to provide information (about the phone number that just made the call showing signs of spam calls, calls showing signs of fraud, cite some related content...) according to the instructions of the customer care department of the network operators.
