On May 23, according to the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department, the unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Duy Hai (25 years old, residing in Cuor Dang commune, Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak) to investigate and clarify the murder. Hai is the suspect who used a knife to stab his drinking buddy to death.
According to initial information, on the evening of May 22, Hai went to a friend's house in Cuor Dang commune to drink. At around 9 p.m. the same day, Mr. LTH (20 years old, living in the same Cuor Dang commune) also came to drink with Hai.

Because Mr. H. had been drinking before, he started to argue with the people at the table. At this time, Mr. H. and Hai started to argue. Unable to keep calm, Mr. H. stood up and flipped the table, causing food to splash onto Hai.
Angry, Hai picked up a fruit knife on the table and stabbed Mr. H. in the left chest. When he saw Mr. H. collapse, Hai called his relatives to take him to the emergency room. However, due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. H. died on the way to the hospital.
At around 1:00 a.m. on May 23, Hai went to Cuor Dang Commune Police Station to surrender and confessed to stabbing his drinking buddy to death.
