Senior leaders of Lao Cai Gold Company simultaneously submitted their resignations.

(NLDO)- The gold company has just changed its leadership team and was established in 2007 with an initial charter capital of 45 billion VND. Currently, the company's charter capital is 105 billion VND.

Lao Cai Gold Joint Stock Company (stock code: GLC) recently announced information about receiving resignation letters from members of the company's Board of Directors, including Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Hoang Thi Que - Member of the Board of Directors, Director and Legal Representative and Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai - Member of the Board of Directors.

The reason for his resignation, Mr. Duc said, was for personal reasons. Mr. Hai changed his place of residence, and Ms. Que changed her place of residence and career orientation.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since June 2022, while Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai was elected to the Board of Directors of Vang Lao Cai in July 2024. Ms. Que has been the company's director since March 2019.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors of Lao Cai Gold issued a resolution to dismiss the positions of the above 3 individuals and elected 3 others to replace them, including Mr. Tran Quang Dang as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen and Ms. Pham Thi Thu Nguyet as members of the Board of Directors.

At the same time, Ms. Huyen was also appointed as director and legal representative of the company.

Regarding Lao Cai Gold Company, this enterprise was established in 2007. The initial charter capital was 45 billion VND. Currently, the Company's charter capital is 105 billion VND.

The company has 4 major shareholders including Mr. Cao Truong Son (23%), Mr. Do Tuan Thinh (22%), Mr. Pham Anh Tuan (20%) and Mr. Uong Huy Giang (22%).

The company operates mainly in the field of gold ore mining and selection. In recent years, the company's business situation has not been optimistic, with continuous losses since 2019, causing accumulated losses at the end of 2023 to reach VND 113 billion.
