According to observations by a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, after 7 rounds of bidding for 27 plots of land in Ha Dong district ( Hanoi ), many people left because they felt the prices were too high. Meanwhile, the organizers had planned for a minimum of 5 to 11 rounds of bidding.
Mr. T., a local investor, said he participated in the auction for three plots of land hoping to win one to build a house. However, after the sixth round, he found that the prices were too high, with some plots reaching 202 million VND/m2, so he decided to give up and buy land elsewhere at market price.

Notably, Ms. Hong, an investor from Quoc Oai district (Hanoi), said she won a plot of land in the Ha Khau rice paddy area, measuring 62.5 square meters, at a price of 146 million VND per square meter, equivalent to over 9.1 billion VND, after 7 rounds of bidding. She is now selling it for over 9.7 billion VND, a profit of 600 million VND.
"Someone bid 156 million VND/m2 for this plot of land, but the bid was invalid, so the organizers approved my winning bid. This means I've already saved 10 million VND/m2," Ms. Hong said. She added that her group participated in the auction for all 27 plots of land today. Currently, her group hasn't won any other plots.

According to Dan Tri newspaper, Ha Dong district (Hanoi) is holding an auction for 27 residential land plots in the following locations: Ha Khau rice paddy area, Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area (Area B, Phu Luong ward); Sau Chua area (code X8, Yen Nghia ward); and Duoc area (code X7, Duong Noi ward).
The land plots offered for auction range in size from 48.7m2 to 72.1m2, with starting prices ranging from 22.8 to 32.2 million VND/m2, and deposit amounts from 221.9 million to 436.3 million VND per plot. The land is designated for urban residential use, with the form of land allocation subject to land use fees. The land use term is long-term.
These include 17 plots in Ha Khau area, 1 plot in Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, 1 plot in Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area (Area B), Phu Luong ward; 2 plots in Sau Chua area (X8), Yen Nghia ward and 6 plots in Duoc area (X7), Duong Noi ward.
Investors participating in the auction will conduct multiple rounds of direct voting using an ascending bid method. Plots in the Ha Khau area will be auctioned through a minimum of 5 mandatory rounds, in the Dong Danh - Dong Coc area through 11 rounds, in the Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men (Area B) area through 6 rounds, in the Sau Chua (X8) area through 6 rounds, and in the Duoc (X7) area through 7 rounds.
The general bidding increment for all land plots and in all auction rounds is 10 million VND/m2.
