Efforts to develop party members

An Giang Party Committee currently has 107 affiliated party committees, with 931 grassroots party organizations and 131,548 party members, in which party cells and enterprise party committees in economic units play an important role, helping enterprises operate in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, actively contributing to building a strong and sustainable business community, making many contributions to the political , economic and social life of the province and the country.

The Party Committee of An Giang Fruit and Vegetable Food Joint Stock Company (Antesco), Long Xuyen Ward has 59 party members operating in 4 party cells under the company office and 3 factories. Secretary of the Party Committee of Antesco Company Bui Phuc Loc said: "Developing new party members helps the Party Committee grow stronger and stronger. In the 2022 - 2025 term, the Party Committee admitted 20 new party members, reaching 100% of the resolution target. This is a remarkable achievement, showing the efforts and determination of the Party Committee in developing party members, contributing to building a clean and strong Party Committee for many consecutive years".

Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy - Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director said that the Party Cell always adheres to the political tasks of the province, focuses on leading and directing to improve production and business efficiency, build sustainable development enterprises, affirm the position and role of production and distribution of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health protection foods in local socio -economic development.

“Over the past 5 years, the Party cell has admitted 6 new members, exceeding the resolution target. The Party cell has continuously led, directed, and organized the synchronous implementation of innovative solutions in working methods, styles, and procedures in a scientific, democratic, and practical direction, with words matching actions. The evaluation of Party members has been carried out seriously, linked to the results of implementing political, production, and business tasks,” Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy emphasized.

In his role as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy General Director of Antesco Company, Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong clearly demonstrated his leadership, responsibility and pioneering role in all activities. Specifically, he demonstrated his leadership ability, contributing with the Executive Board to make the company's production and business activities effective, successfully completing the planned targets. He also actively participated in building resolutions, organizing emulation movements; taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers. Cultural, sports and social welfare activities are organized regularly, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and cohesion within the company. “With the above achievements, Mr. Cuong was commended by the superior Party Committee, recognized as a Party member who excellently completed his tasks in 2024. His contributions helped the company develop sustainably, contributing to building a strong Party organization. This is a shining example for Party members to follow, striving to complete assigned tasks well,” said Bui Phuc Loc, Secretary of the Party Committee of Antesco Company.

At Agimexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Party member Nguyen Phuoc Duy - Director of the Technical Department of Binh Hoa Factory was honored by the province as a typical intellectual in science and technology. He won the Ton Duc Thang Award in 2022, won a prize in the provincial technical innovation contest, actively participated in scientific and technological research, and had many initiatives effectively applied in production and business... "I have had many research projects and technical improvements that benefited the company more than 5 billion VND/year. The initiative "Improving the essential oil filling machine" benefited the company 829 million VND. The initiative "Installing solar power" benefited the investment cost by nearly 1.9 billion VND, saving an average of 112 million VND/month in electricity", Mr. Duy expressed.

Also receiving the Ton Duc Thang Award, party member Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Manager of My Thoi Factory (Agimexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company) grew up from the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers". Ms. Linh has used intelligence to master techniques with many initiatives and effective improvements, benefiting the company more than 2 billion VND/year. With the motto of using intelligence to master techniques, constantly innovating in labor and production, she improved the packaging line from counting to weighing, saving the company 225 million VND/year; improved the packaging line and bottle washing line, saving the company over 182 million VND/year; standardized the size of boxes and crates at Agimexpharm Pharmaceutical Factory, saving the company 624 million VND/year...

The results achieved in the work of developing party members and promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of party members in enterprises are vivid evidence of the spirit of innovation in Party building in An Giang.
