Investing 1,800 billion VND to implement a project in the semiconductor field

DNO - 1,800 billion VND was registered by the investor to implement the project of Laboratory serving the production of advanced packaging technology for semiconductor microchips in Da Nang (Advanced Packaging) to concretize the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

According to Decision No. 1664/QD-UBND dated May 29, 2025, the City People's Committee approved the investment policy as well as the investor VSAP LAB Joint Stock Company to implement the project of a Laboratory serving the production of advanced packaging technology for semiconductor microchips in Da Nang .

The project's objectives are scientific research and technological development in the fields of science and technology and semiconductor microchip technology, artificial intelligence; research and development of high-tech electrical and electronic products; technical testing and analysis: performing product testing and inspection activities; providing technical services related to business operations such as installation, maintenance, consulting, training and technical solutions for products.

The project is located on the construction site at Software Park No. 2, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District. The project covers an area of ​​2,298 ^m2 . The products and services provided are advanced packaging and testing in the semiconductor field with a design capacity of 10 million products/year.

The project's investment capital is 1,800 billion VND, of which the investor's contributed capital (equity) is 364.6 billion VND, and mobilized capital (loan capital) is 1,435.4 billion VND.

Investors register the project implementation progress to complete legal procedures from the 2nd to 3rd quarter of 2025; progress to complete legal procedures and start construction in the 4th quarter of 2025; progress to construct project items from the 4th quarter of 2025 to the 2nd quarter of 2026; progress to complete the project and put it into use/operation in the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2026.

The City People's Committee approved the project's operation period of 50 years from the date of issuance of the Decision approving the investment policy and simultaneously approved the investor.
