On the afternoon of December 16th, in Hanoi, the National Political Publishing House held a meeting to summarize its professional and Party work in 2025 and to plan for 2026.

In 2025, the publishing and editing work will ensure the quality of content. The publishing house will proactively develop a scientific and focused thematic plan, especially for books serving political purposes, translated books donated to Laos, books for communes and wards, and books serving major national events.
As of December 5, 2025, the publishing house had submitted 685 manuscripts for review (reaching 109.4% compared to the same period in 2024). Many publications possess profound theoretical and practical value, contributing to enhancing the leadership and governance capacity of the Party, building a clean and strong political system, educating and raising the political awareness of cadres, Party members, and the people, and effectively serving external information work.

The publishing process has been modernized with the launch of the STstore.vn website; and the promotion and introduction of books through modern methods such as livestreaming and platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Zalo, Shopee, and Tiki…
The unit has published over 700 e-books, promoting the digitization of databases of theoretical and political books. Audiobooks have been developed with over 210 QR codes integrated with audio, enabling readers to access content through a modern listening experience. Book sales revenue increased by 167.9% compared to the same period in 2024.
During the year, the publishing house chaired and co-organized 16 scientific seminars and forums, including 13 national seminars, focusing on clarifying many theoretical and practical issues of national construction and development, socialism, and the path to socialism in Vietnam.

Foreign affairs and international cooperation continue to be implemented proactively, systematically, and with increasing depth; maintaining and enhancing cooperative relations with traditional partners, while expanding cooperation with foreign publishers and foreign embassies visiting and working in Vietnam.
In particular, on the occasion of its 80th anniversary, the National Political Publishing House Truth was awarded the First Class Labor Medal.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, affirmed that the unit had successfully completed its tasks for 2025.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, in 2026, the publishing house will continue to focus on publishing books and book series with theoretical value and practical summaries, emphasizing the quality of publications, innovating content, processes, and methods of editing and publishing in a scientific, standardized, and modern direction to meet readers' needs; ensuring that each page of a book is an "ideological barrier," each work is a "theoretical fortress," persuasive through knowledge, science, reason, and truth.

Furthermore, the publishing house has strongly developed its scientific research work, linking theory with practical experience; identifying scientific research as a strategic pillar alongside editing and publishing. In particular, the unit has strengthened its information dissemination, propaganda, and promotion of its publications and image through various media and digital platforms; proactively coordinating with press agencies to spread the content of theoretical and political publications to a wide range of cadres, Party members, and people of all walks of life domestically and internationally.
The publishing house is also continuing its strong digital transformation, vigorously developing the digital publishing model; focusing on comprehensively digitizing the editing and publishing process, developing new publishing forms such as audiobooks, interactive books, and products integrating multimedia technology; and upgrading and integrating the system of information websites and e-book platforms.
International cooperation in publishing has also been strengthened; the translation and publication of theoretical and political works into foreign languages have been promoted; and active participation in programs introducing and exhibiting Vietnamese books abroad has been encouraged.
