Promote the creation and promotion of literary and artistic works about the People's Public Security Guard force.

According to the plan, in 2025, the first TV series exploiting the theme of the People's Public Security Guard force through the ages, called "Steel Shield", will be completed and broadcast on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

This film was professionally consulted by the Guard Command, in coordination with VIC Group Media and Entertainment Joint Stock Company, and the Television Film Production Center - Vietnam Television. Gathering an experienced filmmaking team, "Steel Shield" is expected to realistically portray the image of the CAND Guard force - soldiers who are not only brave and dedicated but also carry within themselves the ideal of absolute loyalty to the Fatherland.

On the drama stage, previously, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Public Security Guard, the play "The Guard" - one of the very few theatrical works about the People's Public Security Guard soldiers was successfully exploited on the CAND Drama stage. Directed by People's Artist Le Hung according to the script of Dr. and writer Dao Trung Hieu, the play "The Guard" praises the achievements and silent sacrifices of the Guard officers and soldiers on the front line to ensure security and order, especially in the cause of protecting the Party and protecting the leader. Perhaps this is also a rare occasion for the audience of the drama stage to better understand the specific work, bravery and qualities of the Guard soldiers in contemporary life.

In fact, in recent years, the image of the People's Public Security Guard has been exploited more in literary and artistic works. At the literary and artistic composition contest on the topic "The image of the People's Public Security Guard", after only 5 months, the Organizing Committee received nearly 500 works from authors and artists inside and outside the People's Public Security Force. Immediately after that, at the photo exhibition "People's Public Security Guard - 70 seasons of heroic flowers" in Hanoi , nearly 200 photos, including many images of this force for the first time, were displayed and exhibited to the public.

The Command also coordinated with the CAND Publishing House to edit and publish 3 collections of literature and music books on the topic of praising the CAND Guard force: Collection of short stories and memoirs "CAND Guard - 70 seasons of heroic flowers"; collection of poems "Soldiers singing in low tones"; collection of music "Forever the golden history" including literary compositions and musical works that won high prizes in the literary and artistic composition contest on the topic of CAND Guard soldiers. At the Festival to promote literary and artistic works with the theme "CAND - For a peaceful life", the image of CAND soldiers and Guard soldiers was vividly expressed through plays, scenes, songs, and dance performances on stage.

Talking to reporters about literary and artistic creation activities about the People's Public Security Guard, Major General Pham Tien Cuong, Deputy Commander of the Guard Command, said that due to the nature of the work and the isolation in the field of guard work, the press and artists have few opportunities to approach the Guard force and there have not been many literary and artistic creations on this topic as desired. With efforts to innovate cultural and artistic activities, in recent years, the leaders of the Guard Command have paid attention to promoting cultural and artistic movements, notably organizing literary and artistic creation and promotion activities on the topic of praising the image of the People's Public Security Guard.

The cultural and artistic movements were enthusiastically responded to and participated in by officers and soldiers. Many compositions on the topic of the People's Public Security Guard force were of good quality but were only disseminated within the unit, without being widely promoted or introduced. By 2022, literary and artistic composition and promotion activities on the topic of the People's Public Security Guard force were organized for the first time on a large scale, with the participation of a team of professional artists and writers with a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Public Security Guard force.

The creative camp and literary and artistic writing contest on the image of the People's Public Security Guard were organized nationwide, receiving the participation of a large number of artists. This was an opportunity for artists to have access to the practical work, training and combat of the Guard force officers and soldiers, to understand more deeply the feats, achievements and silent sacrifices of the People's Public Security Guard soldiers, thereby reflecting in new compositions. To effectively promote the results of the contest, the Guard Command focused on innovating and diversifying promotional activities, introducing high-quality, highly awarded works to officers and soldiers and the public.

Affirming that the success of literary and artistic creation and promotion activities will greatly contribute to the work of political and ideological education and traditional education for officers and soldiers, and at the same time contribute to spreading the image and good qualities of the People's Public Security Guard, Major General Pham Tien Cuong said that in the coming time, the People's Public Security Guard will continue to have many activities to promote the creation and promotion of literary and artistic works on this topic.

Notably, the Guard Command will maintain organizing competitions for writing literary and artistic works about the People's Public Security and the People's Public Security Guard force every 2 or 5 years. In addition, the Guard force will research and open creative training classes, establish youth writing clubs at the grassroots level, especially in combat units with large numbers of troops to promptly discover young elements and young talents. The Guard Command will continue to promote literary and artistic works about the People's Public Security Guard soldiers in many forms, creating a widespread influence and impact on officers and soldiers and all classes of people, well meeting the needs of enjoying literature and art of the Guard officers and soldiers.
