Participating in the class, 24 students will study the Khmer language program for grade 1, with 45 lessons, divided into 8 weeks, studying 3 sessions/week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week.
Total time 2 months starting from 6/2 to 8/4/2025.
The teachers are Khmer ethnic border guards, have good qualifications and knowledge of Khmer culture, and coordinate with monks from Prey Chop Pagoda, Xung Thum Pagoda and officers from the Departmentof Education and Training of Vinh Chau town, Soc Trang province to teach.

Through the class, we aim to help children improve their ability to use Khmer - their mother tongue, while preserving and promoting the national cultural identity.
During the course, which lasts about two months, students learn listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Khmer, combined with cultural exchange activities, sports and life skills training.

This is an annual activity organized by Lai Hoa Border Post, Soc Trang Provincial Border Guard in coordination with local authorities, demonstrating the concern and care for the young generation of ethnic minorities, contributing to strengthening military-civilian solidarity, building a strong all-people border defense posture.
