The highest benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in 2024 is 27.5

On the afternoon of August 18, the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (HCMUTE) announced the admission scores for regular university training programs/majors based on the results of the high school exam and aptitude test scores in 2024.

Accordingly, the standard score for the pedagogical majors is above 24 points. The highest standard score for this major is English pedagogy with 27.5 points and is also the major with the highest standard score in the school.

The STEM majors with the highest benchmark scores are control and automation engineering and information technology (Vietnamese system), with benchmark scores of 26.14 points and 25.97 points, respectively.

Dr. Quach Thanh Hai - Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education - said that 40/66 programs have a benchmark score of 24 points or higher, many faculties have benchmark scores for all majors above 24 points. Over 74% of candidates admitted from high school exam scores have scores above 24 points.

In 2024, the number of candidates admitted by early admission method is 48% and 52% admitted by high school exam method.

Candidates confirm online enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training system no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

Candidates will complete the admission procedures online at: https://nhaphoc.hcmute.edu.vn/ from August 21 to 27. At the same time, the school will provide the student code and password to the admitted candidates via SMS (HCMUTE) on August 19 and 20.
