List of universities considering additional enrollment quotas in 2023

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Hanoi Law University and many public universities will conduct additional enrollment in 2023.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is recruiting 22 additional students for the Applied Biology major. The candidates for admission are high school graduates in 2023 who have not yet enrolled in any training institution. The school will consider admission based on the results of 3 exams/subjects of the 2023 high school graduation exam. The score for receiving applications is from 19 and above. The application period is from September 23 to 30. As expected, the results will be announced on October 5.

Hanoi Law University is recruiting 50 additional students for the Law major at the training location in Dak Lak . The school will recruit students based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam. The score for receiving applications is from 18.15 and above. The online registration period is from September 14 to 5:00 p.m. on September 22. The school will announce the admission results before 5:00 p.m. on September 26.

The Faculty of Medicine (Ho Chi Minh City National University) is recruiting additional nursing students in 2023. Candidates for admission are high school graduates who have not passed the entrance exam or have passed the entrance exam but have not yet confirmed their admission to any training institution.

Method 1 considers a maximum of 20 quotas based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam, group B00. Method 2 reserves a minimum of 20 quotas for admission based on a combination of the 2023 capacity assessment exam results and high school study results. Candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance of good or higher.

Admission score = 2023 capacity assessment score * 60% + Average score of the average scores of subjects in 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 on a scale of 1,200 * 40%.

The Admissions Council will base on that until the quota is met. Candidates must satisfy the following conditions: Graduated from high school; 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 have permanent residence in the province and study in the province; Have a commitment to work at public health facilities in the province after graduating from university; be subject to training human resources in the health sector of the province, introduced by the province.

Candidates need to achieve an IELTS score of 4.5 or an equivalent international certificate to start studying part of the professional program in the first year. In case the successful candidate does not have an IELTS certificate or equivalent, he/she will take an English proficiency test at the department in the form of IELTS. If the threshold score is not met, the candidate will be given intensive English classes at the department.

The University of Mining and Geology recruits additional 21 majors based on the 2023 high school graduation exam results and high school study results. The admission score ranges from 15 to 23.25. Of which, the Finance and Banking major accepts applications from 23.25.

The University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) recruits 3 additional majors based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam. The admission score for the English Language major (first 2 years of training in Kon Tum) and Russian Language major is 16; The admission score for the French Language major is 21.

Each candidate can register up to 3 wishes for the majors of the University of Foreign Languages. Candidates arrange their wishes in order of priority from high to low, wish 1 is the highest wish; For each major, candidates are considered equally based on admission scores, regardless of the priority order of the registered wishes; For each candidate, the admission is carried out in order of priority of the wishes; each candidate is only admitted to a maximum of 1 registered wish.

Candidates who do not provide full evidence as required during the online registration process will not be considered for admission. Candidates who do not provide evidence to enjoy preferential policies according to the subject or provide invalid evidence will not be awarded preferential points for the subject.

The University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) is recruiting 60 additional students for the UK bachelor program in International Business and International Finance. Candidates can apply for admission based on their high school transcripts combined with their English certificates. In which, the average score of the three-year transcripts must be from 6.5, and the IELTS English certificate must be from 5.5 (or equivalent to B2) or higher.

Vietnam-Japan University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi recruits additional students for regular university training programs in 2023 based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam; reviewing candidates' capacity records (evaluating records and interviews). Of which, the Computer Science major has the most additional quotas with 80 quotas. The remaining majors recruit from 20-45 quotas.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry recruits additional students at both the main campus and the Quang Ngai branch. At the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the school recruits additional students for 10 majors with 200 positions.
