(HNMO) - Implementing the direction of comrade Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee at the dialogue with workers of Noi Bai Industrial Park (Soc Son district), on the afternoon of May 30, Director of the Hanoi Department of Transport Nguyen Phi Thuong said that the Department has decided to adjust the end point, route, and distance of bus route No. 63 and bus route No. 122. The adjustment will be implemented from June 1.
Accordingly, after adjustment, bus route number 122 has its starting point at Gia Lam Bus Station and its ending point at the bus parking lot of Bac Thang Long Industrial Park, with a route distance of 32.5km.
Bus route number 63 starts at the bus park of Bac Thang Long Industrial Park and ends at Tien Thinh commune (Me Linh district), with a route distance of 29.65km.
Both of these bus routes, after adjustment, will access the internal road area in the industrial park, making it convenient for workers and laborers to access and use public passenger transport services.
Previously, on May 18, at Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Noi Bai Industrial Park, Soc Son District), comrade Tran Sy Thanh chaired a meeting and dialogue with nearly 1,000 workers and laborers, representing workers and laborers working in Hanoi.
At the dialogue, many workers and laborers proposed that the city consider arranging bus stops in industrial parks such as Thang Long, Quang Minh, Noi Bai..., especially the time frames for going to and from work to make it convenient for workers in industrial parks to go to work by public transport.
In response to this proposal, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Department of Transport to coordinate with the Management Board of Industrial Parks, Export Processing Zones, local authorities and route operators to research, survey and propose suitable solutions; it is possible to organize specialized contract vehicles to pick up and drop off employees to ensure working hours.
