Thanh Liet ward residents petition about urban management, environmental sanitation, and construction order

On October 28, Thanh Liet ward organized a dialogue conference between the heads of the Party Committee and government with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and people in the area.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of Thanh Liet Ward People's Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan provided an overview of the socio- economic development, security and defense situation in the third quarter and key directions and tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025.

In the third quarter of 2025, Thanh Liet Ward People's Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness and efforts in implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring security and national defense. Budget management and operation work has been carried out in accordance with regulations, effectively serving the development tasks of the locality.

In the field of land management and construction order, the ward proactively inspects, detects and strictly handles violations; applies measures to cut off electricity and water and prepares enforcement records for cases of intentional violations. Construction investment projects are closely monitored for progress, especially key projects serving education and social security.

Delegates and people expressed their excitement at the achievements of the Party Committee and ward government in recent times, frankly reflected and exchanged thoughts and aspirations, and raised 18 opinions and recommendations related to urban management, environmental sanitation, social security, administrative procedures, construction order and traffic safety.

Specifically, residential group No. 1, collective housing area 56+64 requested to handle environmental pollution at Dam Tron Lake and repair the sewer system after constructing the road through the residential group; requested to speed up the progress of the Chu Van An Memorial project and invest in completing the items for which land has been recovered.

Residential group No. 2 proposed to build a cultural house soon; at the beginning of Nguyen Lan Secondary School, there are many cars parked, causing traffic congestion. Residential groups No. 11 and 12 - Thanh Xuan Nam proposed to replace the degraded drainage system; proposed to establish a separate residential group for the two buildings Ecogreen and Housinco, creating favorable conditions for residents; the drainage system in Van residential group is degraded, causing flooding when it rains, and needs to be repaired soon.

The people's petitions were directly answered by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Thanh Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Huy Hoang, clarifying each content; and assigned specialized departments to consider and resolve according to their authority.

With a democratic, frank and open-minded spirit, the ward leaders affirmed that they will promptly handle issues within their authority. Contents requiring inter-sectoral coordination will be reported to superiors, ensuring publicity and transparency, not allowing them to drag on, causing frustration to the people.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Minh Tuan emphasized that the dialogue is not only an opportunity for leaders to listen to the people's thoughts and aspirations, but also an opportunity to jointly recognize and resolve difficulties and shortcomings in practice.

Each contribution from the people is a valuable resource to help the Party Committee and the ward government continue to improve leadership methods, build a government close to the people, for the people.
