The patients were Mr. TBV (66 years old), admitted to the hospital with difficulty urinating, incomplete urination, and a prostate volume of about 66 ml; and Mr. TQB (71 years old), with a history of benign prostatic hyperplasia, admitted to the hospital with frequent urination, nocturia, and a prostate volume of about 76 ml.
The average surgery time for each case was about 15 minutes, the postoperative period was favorable, and both patients were discharged the next day.
The urethral catheter was removed 1 week after surgery. Both patients had good urinary continence, urinary symptoms improved, and continued follow-up.
