Do Son is about to exploit Vung Huong public beach

On April 12, at the press conference on "Do Son Tourism 2024 - a 4-season destination", Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan, Vice Chairman of Do Son District People's Committee, said that the authorities are completing the requirements and conditions to put Vung Huong public beach (Van Huong Ward) with a sandbank longer than 1 km into operation and exploit the eco-tourism model of Bang La Ward mangrove forest in June.

Vung Huong public beach with a sandbank longer than 1 km is being completed by the People's Committee of Do Son District to officially put into operation next June.

According to Mr. Tuan, in addition to the existing tourism products such as cultural - spiritual tourism, festivals, sports ; conference - seminar tourism, and resorts, this year Do Son tourism has a number of new tourism products: Thuy Tinh Water Park, Light Park belonging to the Legend Park Complex in the Dragon Hill International Tourist Area with more than 20 thrilling games...

The representative of Do Son District People's Committee added that the Do Son Tourism Festival 2024 will take place from April 27 to May 4 with many diverse and attractive activities such as: street art performance on the evening of April 27 at the coastal walking street of Zone 2; kite art performance festival on April 30 at Vung Huong tourist beach, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area; Tourism Festival art program held on the evening of April 30 at Sea Square, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area; Open Tourism Golf Tournament held at Dragon Hill Golf Course on May 4, expected to attract 120 golfers; Dragon Hill Culinary Festival taking place from April 27 to May 1 with 150 food stalls and free tasting counters...

With the orientation of building Do Son into a "4-season destination", Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan hopes that by 2024, this district will attract 3.8 million tourists.
