The delegation from the 5th Military Region Command offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

DNO - To commemorate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025), on December 16, a delegation from the 5th Military Region Command, led by Colonel Tran Minh Trong, Deputy Political Commissar of the 5th Military Region, laid flowers and offered incense at the Da Nang City Martyrs' Cemetery, the Monument to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother; the house of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu; and the Memorial Area of ​​the late Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong.

At the city's Martyrs' Cemetery and the Monument to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother, the delegation respectfully laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers who dedicated their entire lives to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Visiting the home of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu, the delegation expressed their boundless gratitude to Mother Thu - who dedicated her most beloved children to the Fatherland, silently enduring loss and sacrifice, becoming a beautiful symbol of Vietnamese revolutionary heroism.

In addition, the delegation visited the memorial site of the late Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong, an outstanding leader of the Party and State, and an exemplary son of the heroic Da Nang homeland.
