- On the morning of May 27, a working delegation of the province led by the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited and presented gifts to children at Vinh Son Charity Shelter, Trang Dinh District on the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1.
Vinh Son Charity Shelter, That Khe Town, Trang Dinh District was established in 2009. Currently, Vinh Son Charity Shelter has 7 nuns managing and caring for 32 children of different ages, most of whom have disabilities such as hearing loss, visual impairment, brain atrophy, mental retardation, etc.
Over the years, Vinh Son Charity Shelter has received attention, support, encouragement and motivation from all levels and sectors, both materially and spiritually. The disabled children here have enjoyed support policies from the State, creating more conditions for the facility to take better care of the children.
Here, the head of the delegation and the members of the delegation kindly visited, encouraged and shared with the disabled children as well as the nuns at the facility. He thanked the nuns at the shelter and thanked the attention of the groups, organizations and individuals who have contributed and supported the shelter to take care of the children. He hoped that the nuns here would continue to overcome difficulties, promote the achievements they have made, and take better care of andeducate the disabled children.
On behalf of the delegation, the head of the delegation presented gifts to the disabled children at the shelter and wished them a happy and warm International Children's Day. On this occasion, agencies, units and businesses in the area presented meaningful gifts to the children at Vinh Son shelter.
